The Experience of a Lifetime
My Serenity Farms provides premium care and instruction for both horse and rider. We offer instruction to riders of all ages and skill levels from beginners to riders competing in local GHJA & "A" rated shows. Deborah Gannon trains one-on-one with beginners, emphasizing the fundamentals of horse care and riding. For more experienced riders, she concentrates on perfecting riders' skills and preparing them for competition. All lessons are scheduled at the client's convenience and designed for individual riders to gain the most rewarding and fun experience. Our lessons take as long as it takes to get a good result. We specialize in Hunters, Jumpers, and Equitation using safe and well schooled lesson horses or working with the student's horse. Deborah’s love for horses began at an early age. At five years old she began learning how to ride at a sleep-away camp in North Georgia and has been dedicated to the sport ever since. Though she didn't have as many opportunities to ride as a girl, she furthered her learning in any way she could through her position as a working student. In 2004, as an adult, she moved to Wellington, Florida and began training with top-notch trainers in the area to sharpen her skills. She also had her two children at the time, one of whom is also currently a dedicated rider. Upon moving back to Georgia in 2009, Deborah opened her first facility. In just a matter of four months she and her boarders had already out-grown it and moved to a new facility in Alpharetta and grew from there. In 2013, My Serenity Farms had grown enough to move out of their second facility and into a beautiful and roomy facility off of Birmingham Road where they are currently stationed. Currently, Deborah furthers her riding ability by training with her current trainer three times a week and uses every bit of knowledge to further her own students’ abilities. She is a kind and firm trainer that loves to work with her kids and watch them prosper.
